Author_Bio: E. B. Burbridge started to write short stories in elementary school and his teachers suggested he continue to do so. But, when he entered his teen years life sent him in a different direction. During years of life's responsibilities he occasionally revisited his passion for writing. After retirement he wrote regularly being published in literary journals nationwide. He has three adult children and lives in Chicago with his wife.
