From 1940 to 1973, Donald Henry Basgen worked for the United States Army Corps of Engineers building dams. During this time, Don worked on 17 dams in Arkansas, Oregon, and Idaho. Faced with a variety of challenges, Don pushed innovation, resulting in building techniques that are now in widespread use decades later.
