Everyone told them that it could not be done. Nobody in their right mind would set out on such a great expanse of water and try to travel through some the most dangerous and remote areas of the African wilderness. But hey, that is how adventures are born, right? The vessel they chose was a forty-year-old homemade bathtub-like sailboat. It was barely big enough to carry two people and a little gear. This story is of people who dream big and are crazy (or silly) enough to actually step out and carry through with their plans. Storms, animal threats, and accidents are also essential ingredients to make any adventurer´s heart race and this was just what these two were in for!
