This small volume is meant to provide a basis for a ten week seminar course on professional issues of interest to undergraduate engineering students. The topics raised are not fully explored, leaving an opportunity for further discussion and discovery in class. Outside readings and research topics are suggested in the Essay Questions at the end of each chapter. A course based on this book can easily be used to assess students on several program outcomes required by ABET for accreditation purposes.
