Brandy K. Nichols was born in September 1970, to Brian Nichols, a Vietnam Veteran, and Vivian Nichols, a high school drop-out. Brian Nichols dies when Brandi was only five years old. Brandi's mother goes through a few different men and there is no permanent adult male living in the Nichols' household during many of Brandi's developmental years.
