Faith is not a white picket fence. There are areas where paint is missing, or a nail or two have come loose. Parts of the fence are in pristine condition and shine brightly from afar. In other areas, boards are missing completely, and faith seems distant and forgotten. We repair the broken parts. We do our best to maintain the boards that are in good working order. Taking you on a journey through love, loss and faith, McDiarmid shares his past and how some things challenged his idea of faith. Three years ago, joining his church choir began a journey through humor, reverence, laughter and pain. Faith is not a straight line. It is not always easy to find your way. Choices are made. Consequences are weighed. Each of these decisions lead us forward in life, creating our journey and creating our individual pathways.
