Another Chance Dave Ashburn

After suffering a series of three heart attacks in four days and undergoing a quintuple heart bypass surgery over Labor day weekend in 2011, the author flatlined several times and spent 23 days in a medically induced coma. This is an account of the range of emotions, pain, anguish, perseverance, and refusal to give up - by faith and a promise he made to God once he awoke from that coma. The journeys that have happened since then are mind boggling for a guy who, by all rights, shouldn't have survived. Dave has dedicated himself to philanthropy through his AshburnProject for Diabetes Awareness, through service to the Lord through extensive work at his church (Lay leader, Youth Pastor, fill-in preacher, and Administrative Board President), and committing himself to a healthier and active lifestyle to combat Diabetes.
