Meteorites: Outer Space Art 2 picks up where Meteorites: Outer Space Art 1 left off showcasing a selection of thinly cut and polished meteorite slices specifically chosen for their unique artistic patterns. The art work created inside of some meteorites after tumbling through space is more beautiful than the dark and dull exterior now sculpted by the heat into various shapes. Color close-up photographs of selected polished meteorite sections highlight each of their unique artistic qualities. Displayed are a variety of natural color patterns, the glow of gemlike translucent olivines and the intricacy of Widmanstatten patterns.
