Verses Chantel Charis

Verses is a short collection of poems and writings from the past few years that I have arranged in book form in order to provide a sense of catharsis for myself. Over the last year or so, my writing process has changed dramatically and I feel as though I have grown out of this style since. Some writings are romantic, but contain undertones of sadness and instability, while others convey manic and anxious voices through incoherent successions of thoughts. I feel a great sense of relief by putting these writings out in the open and available to the public. It is my hope that others will be able to relate to what I once felt and experience the sensation of not being alone.
