This text offers a first development of one of the units that is the basic support of any mathematics course; this unity is the propositional logic. Step-by-step exercises of truth tables and practical application of the formulas that correspond to the logical laws are addressed in order to facilitate students the effective learning of the theoretical concepts. It is about being very explanatory in the enunciation and progressive solution of each exercise. Seeking that the student acquires ability to solve problem situations. These exercises are practical and can be easily checked. This basic practical course is aimed at all students who start at universities and technical and pedagogical higher education institutions in order to obtain a solid mathematical foundation. The purpose is to present a practical introduction of one of the basic topics of mathematics as an essential support for the understanding and development of higher mathematics.
