If you recognise them straight away, then log them, if not, then take a picture and consult your manual or internet when at home, and then log it down. Birds need to be photographed and at least observed, so a camera or phone and binoculars would be a good idea. Bird watching is a great hobby that keeps you fit, gets you out and about and puts lots of fresh air in your body, on the other hand, it is possible to see many birds from the comfort of you lounge window!Enjoy logging the birds as it will jog your memories.
