Modern Misconceptions

Most historians don't write history, most scientists don't make theories from science, and Religious leaders don't tell you the whole truth. Instead of doing what is right, they twist things around to make the answer conform to some pet Theory. Aristotle theorized that women had fewer teeth because they were less evolved. Darwin's ideas got twisted around to make man come from a monkey, but now we know Chimpanzees came from humans. Another claimed Carbon dioxide would destroy the earth. Many tried holding their breath until someone finally indicated CO2 cannot be absorbed into the atmosphere at all. A scientist claimed Heroine could improve digestion, and cure disease. Another decided Radioactive Radium soap would invigorate you. Just because someone says he's a scientist does not mean he is not a nut-job. In fact he probably is. Hopefully this book will show you misconceptions of these seemingly smart wackos.
