Two String Quartets Dale E Victorine

These two string quartets were written in 2001 and 2006. They express a range of moods - with melody always given the greatest importance. The first explores both vigorous rhythm and heartfelt lyricism. The second, full of contrasts, became a vehicle that portrays the four elements: water, air, earth and fire.
