This book has concluded that, even though there are many replication techniques that have been studied in the last 20 years, and even though there are more studies being done, all the studies seem to keep trying to improve on old techniques, trying to make them better and more up to date, to cope with the fast growing aspects of life and database replication usage. The amount of work being done to discover new studies is very limited. The synchronous multi-master and the asynchronous multi-master replication methods have their advantages and disadvantages, each one on their own lacks the strength to be the replication method of a complete system. That is the main reason why none of the multi-master replication methods are being implemented. This factor is what influenced my research and my proposal, finding a better algorithm and a better method that would hold mainly the advantages of both methods and would be feasible in all factors to be implemented.
