Spending ten years in the male-dominated environment of the U. S. Marine Corps, I experienced verbal, emotional, psychological and even physical abuse. Being the only female in the unit I was assigned to, sometimes, I felt like I had no recourse. Eventually, I became desensitized. I told myself to be tough and deal with it. My freedom from this "bondage" came when I decided not to reenlist and seek employment as a civilian. However, being away from that toxic situation did not remove the trauma. There were things I still needed. If you are reading this, you are already a conqueror and on a new journey. Released! is a tool meant to help you reflect on obstacles that have held you back and energize you to pursue your dreams.
