A transition is not a new word; in fact it is commonly used. In this book it is defined as an irreversible change from one state or condition to another. Whether you like it or not, everything pertaining to life is subject to change. The world is changing. Relationships are changing. Our bodies are changing daily. Change is therefore inevitable. You cannot afford to be complacent and comfortable. If you are, God will cause series of events to happen in your life which will shake you, just to get your attention. Transition will cause you to come out of your nest. It will cause you to come out of your comfort zone. It will cause you to leave the familiar. It will cause you to come out of the status quo and step into the unknown. Once you yield, you will be on your journey of self-discovery, where you will find out who you are and your purpose in life. It is very natural to resist transition at first. It is like a defence mechanism. But, just remember, the process is not designed to harm you. It is rather a preparation for something great. Your transition is not meant to be permanent but rather temporary. In transition, you will see the necessity of isolating yourself, thus introducing you to your true self. You will discover gifts embedded in you that you would have never known otherwise.
