The collection of poems in You're not Alone reflects the pain, confusion, love, hate, heartbreak, anxiety, and loneliness that all teenagers go through at one point and time. It reminds them that they are not rowing the boat by themselves but rather, that they have an entire crew rowing with them. They are all attempting to reach a like goal: To make it through their teenage years. Their wish will come true.
