Environmental Sustainability: a Responsibility for All Mary Gresens

While we are cognizant that carbon dioxide emissions from cars are having a lasting and negative impact on our climate and human health, we continue to do little to mitigate the harm. It became increasingly clear that the parties contributing to the emissions problem are a set of interacting players. It also became evident that the portrayal of this system and the related environmental and resource issues as described in this work is a unique interdisciplinary synthesis of philosophy, scientific data related to climate change, automotive technology, domestic policy, and socio-historical information.
