Pleasure Bound
George Reginald Bacchus
George Reginald "Reggie" Bacchus (1874-1945) used to write nice, uplifting stories for religious newspapers in England. He was friends with Oscar Wilde, and married to actress Isa Bowman. However, Reggie also wrote pornography for his friend, publisher Leonard Smithers. "Pleasure Bound: Maudie, A Lady of the Night," first published in 1909, is a great example of raunchy and funny Edwardian erotica.
