Since Luca was a child, the smallest things including a smile haven't been easy to come by. He has grown accustomed to living a solitary life full of anger and occasional fits of rage. Fate causes him to cross paths with Avery, who is naturally beautiful from the inside out. Working a stressful job as a hotel manager, she constantly deals with disgruntled people, but she never seems to lose her cool. As much as he tries to fight it, Luca can't help but be intrigued by the peacefulness she possesses. She introduces Luca to a more calm way of living life, one he didn't think was possible to live.
