The world has become a very different place. What must have been a lifetime ago, Aiden had been perfectly content going to school, having maybe one friend, and hammering away at her forge. Of course, that was before she Awakened as a fey, turned into a girl, and realized she came from a long line of werewolves. Since that moment, her life had been turned upside-down with new discoveries, gut-wrenching betrayals, heart-wrenching loss, and meeting a pair of girls who had become as close to being sisters as anyone could get without sharing DNA. And still, nothing had prepared her for what was easily the most challenging endeavor of her young life... High school. Now Aiden was struggling to balance remembering her World History lesson, better understanding how to work in tandem with the wolf that had become a part of her very soul, and dealing with the insanity that was practically a requirement of high school. On top of that, she and her friends now had to contend with the fear that the man directly responsible for destroying one of their lives suddenly deciding he'd like to relocate his operation to the Oval Office and had a really good chance of succeeding.
