This book has to do with a thorough critique and exposition of the phrase "this generation" in Mat. 24:34, Mk. 13:30 and Lke. 21:32. Jesus was not referring to a future generation that was to see the things that He spoke about, but He was referring to His own generation. The demonstrative "this" is a pointer, pointing to those who were Jesus' contemporaries and no others.
