When Jack, a compassionate man, takes in a young street girl, Tispa, his life is about to change. The arrival of two supposed agents, Kess and Strife, sets Jack and Tispa on a journey, one that Jack will not forget. Jack is flung from the world he knows to a place Tispa calls Vallis, all in pursuit of an item Kess and Strife took away. The item they stole was the Dragon'S Eye, a stone which keeps Tispa from transforming into a terrifying beast.
