She uses her unusual abilities to find lost pets for those who are desperate enough to seek her help. When a retired postman hires Mireya to find Connor, his aging golden retriever, her life is rocked by the realization that she has witnessed a murder through the dog?s eyes.

Gary Coakley, a geoenvironmental engineer, is on assignment in Minnesota when his eight-year-old daughter disappears without a trace.
