Caution: Woman Inside is the story of Sissy St Clair, an intersexual person who grew up in the 1950's, and proceeds through her life into adulthood. The story explores her need to be recognized as the woman she felt she was, along with her conflicts and emotions, her hiding in "plain sight" within her society. The reader will be drawn into her worlds of living as two genders, feel her pain and understand her emotions as she draws them into her very unordinary life from showgirl to fatherhood and beyond.
