A midsummer night's comedy set (mostly) in verse. A poet teams up with a satyr to lure a pair of Diana's priestesses away from her temple with the reluctant aid of the philosophic Bear-King; while a trio of rowdy peasants romance some ladies of their own while tricking a trio of hobgoblins into revealing the secret of their treasure.
