This is a collection of experimental poetry. There is an interweaving of the more traditional, but non-lyrical, form of poetry with the non-traditional, non-lyrical and thematically-oriented kind. This forces the reader to bounce back and forth between the two, so that eventually a thematic dialectic arises, bringing the reader out of the ordinary and hopefully into the "meaning" of the poem itself. To a degree, this is a form of juxtaposition, and as such it attempts to force the reader into the choice of one or the other interpretation.
