The Overseers, who control the Imminence, make themselves known to Rider, promoting him to Principle and gifting him with Seer orbs, a weapon he must now use to track down and destroy Bock. But Bock has his own plans, plans that involve the deaths of thousands of people in New York, and Rider is the only one who can stop him. An epic battle lurks on the horizon, a battle that could cost Rider his life, or rather, his first life.
