Mr. Darrin Hayes, Father of fomer Louisiana State University and Arizona Cardinals standout defensive back Tyrann "Honey Badger" Mathieu is currently on guest to lead others down the right path. He decided to tell his story in efforts to inspire young kids and athletes the vital importance of wise decision-making. Your heard the storey so many times, but never told in such a vibrating and soul-searching matter. An inspiring young athlete with a promising processional career ahead of him gets involved with the wrong crowd and commits a crime, landing him in one of the bloodiest prisons in the United States. Going to prison was never in Hayes' plan, especially serving a life sentence. Before his incarceration, Hayes had aspirations, dreams, and goals like any other young person. He attended John McDonogh Sr. High School in the mid-city area of New Orleans, LA. where he was considered the best running back in the city, if not the State.
