Colonel Chaz Sheperd is tired of fighting, but the war rages on. Civilization teeters on the brink of collapse, and the zombie freaks are growing in strength. Chaz has done everything asked of him, but he can no longer protect the people he cares about. The leaders of a secret bunker hold the final solution for beating back the freaks, but not before Chaz makes one more sacrifice. The young girl Christa saved his life once, and is now key to the final solution. Chaz must decide where his loyalties lie and who to trust if he's going to save civilization. Against a backdrop of shifting political powers and mutating freaks three individuals will make choices that determine the fate of an entire planet.
