This is Cory Groover's first book. This book was written for her daughter and her students. She was in search of a book for a lesson on going to college and choosing a career for her students. After contacting the local librarians, she did not find what she needed, so Cory decided to write the book she was searching for. This book, What Will Cora Be When She Grows Up, is what was created. She then wrote another book to pair with this book called Jack Rabbit Goes to College. Both books give kids an opportunity to start thinking about what they might want to be when they grow up. She hopes that all young people find and follow their passion.
