Suki is an unhappy fourteen year old who lives with a foster family. After years of scolding and yelling, Suki escapes in a boat with her friends and her little sister. Everything goes wrong when a massive storm erupts, sending the girls to an island. Problems occur quickly. Suki finds out the island is a dangerous place with people who attack, kidnap, and sometimes kill newcomers.
