Publisher Marketing: "No life means music, art, and writing. People wonder why it is that I am so accomplished -- its because I have no social life worth speaking of." It is said that writing is a most intimate of art forms. The writer shares his ideas, lets the reader into his world, and peering through the veil, catches a glimpse of the writer's soul. And in this modern age, many of us first-worlders have a book, a Face-Book, a collection of our thoughts and experiences, our feelings and our ideals. As an artist and a writer, I often use my friends as a sounding-board, to see what their thoughts are. My friends are a collection in an of themselves, of artists, writers, critics, actors, producers, musicians, and ordinary people. They are all intelligent (excepting maybe the ones who send me Farm-Ville requests) and it is their opinion that I often succumb to when my well being is on the line (I tried to quit drinking, recently, and they have been my support group -- I don't do meetings). Book Face is a concept book, similar to my other collections of unfinished work, bits and pieces of poetry, and whatever else has come from my pen -- or in this case, my status messages. So, if it is true that writing is the most intimate of art forms, that my shared ideas let the reader into my world, this book takes it one step further, and lets them peer deeply into the disturbed mind of a writer on his day to day blather and rants.
