Naughty Maya, the charming follow-up to Randy Rothfus's first picture book, Silly Maya, follows Miss Maya, the English bulldog puppy, as she entertains herself one boring afternoon.



Maya's family is gone, and Sir Elvis, an older and wiser dog, isn't interested in any of Miss Maya's activities. So, Maya gets into plenty of mischief all by herself. She tears up the couch, digs up a plant, and chews on the children's trampoline until the neighbors catch her.



When Maya's family gets home, they aren't pleased at all, and Maya has to pay for what she's done by going to time-out. Thankfully, Maya is a smart puppy that learns the importance of learning from your mistakes and obeying the rules.
