The name Reyhaneh in Persian means, "flower, fragrance." In the early morning dawn hours of October 25, 2014, the evil Iranian Regime executed and silenced the beautiful, "Rose of Persia," for defending herself against a government rapist. Reyhaneh spent seven grueling years in prison being interrogated and tortured. She refused to lie and change her story for the sake of her honor as a woman. In a culture of injustice, hatred and discrimination, Reyhaneh was a beautiful fragrance of mercy, honor and courage. This is her story.
