It has long been suspected that the interpersonal conflicts between astronauts on a prolonged interplanetary voyage could torpedo its chances for success. This book creates a possible scenario where NASA could simulate and perpetrate such conflicts. Since writing this book I have discovered that NASA has begun a parallel experiment. It describes the challenges, talents and energies of our five unique and capable characters as they try to cope with a large influx of refugees from a neighboring island. They succeed in building a Utopian community, but must later defend it from the evils that outside forces present.
