Life in most villages alongside The River Nile is pretty much similar. the village community in such a village is unofficially self-governed and self-ruled as the government presence cannot be seen but on rare occasions. This is a chance to explore some aspects of life in one of these villages through the tale of a little girl called Hanan and her boy buddy who was called Omar.
