Nostradamus' unpublished ancient manuscripts involve greed, murder, wealth, power, star-crossed lovers, and a price to be paid for the knowledge they contain. University librarian Ann Ashworth discovers a hidden Nostradamus manuscript in an old thick book cover which opens a thrilling mystery about where it came from and what does its prophesies mean. Ann works with police detective John Rico to unravel who stole the manuscript, why people are being murdered, and who is involved in the quest for the manuscripts. Ann and John become lovers as they discover the high price for knowing the future.
