Why did God create the "Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil" if He knew that man would sin? Since God is all-knowing, He could not have created the tree in order to discover what man would do. Furthermore, in light of the fact that God does not tempt anyone according to James 1:13, why put the tree in the Garden? Why not simply remove the tree and eliminate any possibility for temptation and/or sin?
