Based on an interview with a Bon Lama, this is the story of a Tibetan boy who studied with the Abbot of his small Tibetan village. Years later, his teacher's prophecy about the need to leave Tibet came true and as a young man he joined the villagers in a dangerous journey across the Himalayan Mountains, seeking freedom in India, where he became known as The Gatekeeper.
