When Evan failed to show up at his place, Preston headed to the beach without him. It would turn out to be a trip that would change Preston's life forever. Evan had his own troubles. A vampire that had attacked Evan months saw that Evan was still alive. He didn't want anyone to know that he was a vampire and thought he had killed Evan. He attacked Evan again the night before the beach trip, but Evan fought back. Unfortunately, for Evan this time he was killed and was turned into a vampire.
