"Fiddlin Around" is a journey through the eyes and fond memories of a rambunctious, adventure seeking youth growing up in the simpler, yet challenging times of the 1960's & 70's. Each short story is a humorous look at real life events that took place within a small, but close group of neighborhood sidekicks in the Pacific Northwest. The stories begin in 1966 when the author, then age 10, moved from a commercial, rural setting into a kid friendly neighborhood. Within spitting distance was an activity filled sports field and bustling City Park. The slightly embellished shenanigans outlined are based on actual happenings over a six year period. Most stories contain music, movie and television memorabilia references that anybody growing up in that era will easily relate with. Take a journey back in time as you surely will share like memories, experiences and a chuckle with the author and relatable friends.
