Brede Becker is a disillusioned attorney who works in a prestigious law firm as a Junior Partner as he follows in his father's footsteps. However, his father's ambitions for him are not his own. Instead, Brede has always dreamed of living in the untamed west. A prime source of his frustration comes from within his own law firm as one of his clients is a wealthy man who is ruthlessly purchasing land and cattle in the west as he builds his empire. His acquisitions are not always ethical or even legal as he drives off poor farmers and the smaller ranchers just so he can claim their land and cattle.
