When an Asian woman with two sons started June's Deli between a supermarket and library in Penn Valley, California, she quickly established an atmosphere reminiscent of the "Cheers!" TV show. Strangers became friends in her busy cafe, with all its pottery and pictures, coffee and curios, baubles and buns -- and darned good food. Soon to be sold, June's Deli leaves a legacy never to be forgotten in this picturesque community.
