To Grace, death isn't just about losing someone. It's about making memories while they're still here, and reflecting on them once they are gone. When Grace's mother packs up and moves them across country to live with her grandparents, Grace takes the changes in her stride, somewhat. When her absentee father shows up unexpectedly it throws her for a loop, and she doesn't know what to think. It isn't until her mom tells her she's dying, that Grace is truly tested. How can she be strong for the one she loves, when her life is crumbling around her? With the help of her family, Grace discovers she's stronger than she ever thought she was. But with her life taking such a sharp curve, will she be confronted with finality, or will she find that when one door closes, several more open?
