In 60 AD, young Quintus is given his first legion command in the northern borders of the Roman portion Britain. Eager to make a name for himself and boost his political career, he plans an invasion north of the Roman borders to defeat a great nemesis of the empire. As he is about to leave for his conquest a rebellion breaks out in the Roman occupied territory causing his family to get captured by the rebel forces. Now he must put his invasion on hold to save his family.
