"Am I a secondary character in my own life story?"After losing her brother and mother in a horrific incident, Piper Addison is left growing up unloved and unwanted by everyone. In a childish spur of the moment decision, she ends up leaving home and finds herself in the coastal town of Belfast, Maine. It's there where she truly begins again with the help of her job as a librarian, a quirky math teacher that she befriends, and a willingness to finally tackle her past head on. It's there where she learns that sometimes you have to lose yourself to find out who you truly are.
