Adonis while preparing to go hunting, Venus "trapped in her sweaty palm" is thrown to him (with intent to have sexual intercourse). Then we find that "he lies panting and breathing in your face" while Venus says "dare to play, our sport is not in sight." She persuades him to kiss her but Adonis is not very interested, thinking it is too young, and only cares about the hunt. After separating, Adonis dies in a hunting accident in front of a boar.
