Alex Ivanhoe is an angry man. Having been found not responsible for the death of his wife's lover, he is ordered to undergo treatment for anger management. His shrink is no grey-haired stiff. Kate Yates is a twenty-seven-year-old melting pot. Alex diffuses his unexpected attraction to Kate, using what he knows best - bad attitude and alcohol. His adopted brother Paul suffers panic attacks and Alex devotes his time to his brother, leaving no room for feeling the passion that his wife destroyed in him by being unfaithful. Melanie and Paul feel an immediate connection to each other, forcing Alex and Kate closer. Romance spreads its wings, but with it comes danger. Lies and lust collide and the aftermath is tragic.
