Isabel should have been at her desk on the 82nd floor in the North Tower, but she was running late that morning. In the early hours of September 11, 2001, Isabel Henry discovers she's pregnant. The shock of a baby and all its implications sends her into an emotional tailspin causing her to miss her 7:30 train into New York City. When her train arrives in Penn Station she discovers the Twin Towers have been attacked by terrorists, and she watches in utter horror as the two infrastructures collapse.
